Censorship Here (28)

Censorship believe it or not does not happen that much in the United States. In my school we do have a form of censorship. I believe that it is for our best. In our classes we are not allowed to use bad language. That is a form of censorship. This school also gives Christian textbooks. (This is also for our good) Even though it is for our good it is a form of censorship. Censorship believe it or not does not happen that much in the United States. Home Sweet Home or Not (25)

Christmas vacation started with a bang. I left a day early from school so that I could attend GYC. (General Youth Conference) What a blessing that was. When we returned home from Minnesota we had a few days to recuperate from jet lag before we hit the road, very early (4 a.m. to be exact) to go up to Oregon to see the baby! Yes I finally saw my little ISK! He’s is amazing! He has so many facial expressions, and get this, yes he’s already a poser at 5 ½ months! All you have to say is Isaac look at the camera and he smiles! The beach was awesome but not quite as awesome as my nephew.
The weather cooperated with our travel plans and we had a safe round trip. We even got to stop by Connie’s Aunt’s house in Portland for a brief hello. Vacation was a blast especially because I got to spend time with my brothers. Right before I came back to school I became a pin cushion literally. I had four shouts given to me (in the arms) and a flue shot, shot up my nose. Ouch… My last weekend home we had hardly any power because of the storm, the wind was so forceful that it took part of our roof off. Making for a wild, and interesting vacation.

Island Adventure! (26)

If I were stranded on an island for ten years, and I had only a limited amount of things I could have with me I would bring one of the following; a book, a person, a CD, a food item, a drink item, an piece of clothing, and one miscellaneous item. Which person and what book and… would be some very good questions.
The book that I would bring is the Bible. It would never get old and I’d always find new things about it to fascinate me. The person is a little harder to figure out. I’d say it would be my cousin, brother, or my best friend. I can’t decide. What’s the use of a CD without a player? Just to remember the good old days when there was such a thing I’d take a CD of all my friends singing so that I could remember them. For food I’d bring chocolate. It lowers your blood pressure, and that’s very important. I would bring a warm cozy hoodie so that I can cuddle up in it when I’m cold. Since I can bring one thing of anything I want I’d bring an ax so that I can chop down trees and make a house. So now that I’m back to reality and I can be very thankful that I don’t have to be “stranded” on a island for ten years although it might be fun in a weird sort of way.
