Christmas vacation started with a bang. I left a day early from school so that I could attend GYC. (General Youth Conference) What a blessing that was. When we returned home from Minnesota we had a few days to recuperate from jet lag before we hit the road, very early (4 a.m. to be exact) to go up to Oregon to see the baby! Yes I finally saw my little ISK! He’s is amazing! He has so many facial expressions, and get this, yes he’s already a poser at 5 ½ months! All you have to say is Isaac look at the camera and he smiles! The beach was awesome but not quite as awesome as my nephew.
The weather cooperated with our travel plans and we had a safe round trip. We even got to stop by Connie’s Aunt’s house in Portland for a brief hello. Vacation was a blast especially because I got to spend time with my brothers. Right before I came back to school I became a pin cushion literally. I had four shouts given to me (in the arms) and a flue shot, shot up my nose. Ouch… My last weekend home we had hardly any power because of the storm, the wind was so forceful that it took part of our roof off. Making for a wild, and interesting vacation.
